Electric Quad Bike | Fully Charged
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
As will be obvious, we had a brilliant time with Eco Charger Quads at Keypits Farm in Devon. The electric quad bikes are very impressive and make an enormous amount of sense, easily replacing petrol powered machines with zero compromises and plenty of advantages. http://ecochargerquads.com/ You can support Fully Charged on Patreon https://www.patreon.com/bobbyllew?ty=h

Dislike because of "ya know...."
-
how fast it is
-
They look quite a bit (actually almost the same) as the Sasquatch23 from Daymak in Canada. And the Sasquatches cost a lot less than the EcoCharger Quads. Amazing how much they look like them and they can charge the same way.

I'm taking a hard look at Electric ATV's ....I'm an aging East-Kentucky gear jockey that cut his teeth on a 300 Honda Four-Trax but the E-ATV's are looking pretty good.

It is very interesting to see the variety of vehicles that profit by being electrified. The boat, the quad, the bike...
To me the quad looks quite solid and will sureley do its job. One can definetly see the potential, because it is just a refitted combustion quad. If they do the next logical step and develop a full electric concept for a quad, I am sure the performance will be even higher! Maybe an AWD with four electric motors in the wheel hubs and the battery below the driver? Makes it even more agile with better grip for an offroad vehicle and the lower center of gravity will definetly be an andvantage! Let's see, where the development goes! -

interesting and would be very good for shooting off lamping etc, but just a quick comparison with a equivalent petrol quad. over twice the price of a new quadzilla 600 (on the road as plg cheaper on agri reg or un reg) slower (35mph vs 60) very poor range (15 miles vs 70 miles on a tank) no tow bar or electrics by the look of it, any rated towing capacity? is it type approved for road use?

Hi Robert,
I have a math problem that needs to be solved.
There are 760 million cars in the world today emitting approximately 78,599 tons of Sulphur Oxides annually.
There are approximately 90,000 ships burning 370 million tons of fuel per year emitting 20 million tons of Sulphur Oxides. That equates to 260 times more Sulphur Oxides being emitted by ships than the worlds entire car fleet.
There were approximately 37.4 million flights in 2014 with an average of 102,465 flights per day. In a 2 hour flight a plane would travel roughly 1200 miles and emit approximately 31.8 tons of Sulphur Oxides. Which annually would be over a billion Sulphur Oxides.
How many quad bikes would need to be built and sold to offset the carbon footprint of all the combined modes of transport annually?
