PETA Asia's breaking investigation of 10 different circuses and training facilities in Suzhou, China—which alone encompasses more than 300 circuses—found animals confined to barren cages, hit, chained, whipped, and more. http://www.petaasia.com/news/circus-industry-china/ Please, never go to a circus that uses animals, tell others why, and show them this video. My mum travels in China quite alot and some of the stories that she tells me about live turtles being tied to poles for drivers to see as they are passing in the car and they hope someone will stop to buy them. She said she couldn't eat anything in one restaurant as shes saw a live turtle in a tank and it put her off her food. She recently wrote a song for me to help youths see what is going on in the world...hopefully more people like me will be against all this too. Thank you for all that you do ! x

This is obviously sad and wrong, but I disagree with the statement made at the very end. It's obviously false that the "only way" to make an animal perform "unnatural tricks" is through pain and fear. Most dog owners love their pets and teach them many "tricks" without fear or pain ever being a factor. Although unfortunately not the tactic displayed in the video, we know that positive reinforcement is a viable means of teaching animals.
