Fitting Fatter Road Bike Tires
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
Here's an video about fitting larger tires to my road bicycle. 28mm VIttoria Rubino Pro tires in back and a 25mm tire in front. I used to run 18mm in front and 20mm in back in the early 90's. Times have changed though and bigger tires are where it's at. Thanks for watching!

Any update/ opinions on the 28C rubino's vs 25c?
I run a 25c reflex GP4000, They are drying out on me and cracking (2 seasons I can't complain)). I thought about doing a tire switch since i was buying new. VIttoria Rubino Pro is a tire I looked at. 28c from 25c is also an option.
Oddly enough this video popped up on side bar as I was watching a Panaracer Pasela PT video for hybrid.
As for the 280g weight of the 28c. My 25c GP4000s reflex are 235g. I am assuming the 245g weight applies to Rubino's 25c? -

Nice I just swapped out both of my 23's for continental 25's. Love them. Neck soreness gone and they roll very nice. Check out my recent clip I posted today of our 20miler at 20+mph avg. :) cheers!

How's this been for your back so far? Also, have you changed your stance on the bike to better accommodate your back? Just curious, hope it's working well for you.
