Five simple questions science CAN'T ANSWER - This is REAL Genius

Humans are pretty smart. Apart from our special skill of wiping out large parts of our own population and several other species, we've achieved some pretty remarkable things. But there's a lot. Like, a LOT of stuff that we still don't know. Some of it is surprisingly simple - the answer must be staring us in the face - and yet we just haven't worked it out yet. So here's our top five list of stuff we should know, but don't. I know exactly why human laugh.

Okay, so I'm watching this while going through my third straight sleep-deprived night.
You say 17 hours of consciousness is the same as two standard drinks. i don't actually drink, so that doesn't mean much to me. But I'm approaching 72 hours of no sleep whatsoever. I recognize i am extremely jacked up on caffeine right now, but I've also been eating a lot of proteins and fatty foods, so the insulation around my nerves that caffeine would normally be burning away is still very much intact.
Now, I'm far from at my peak at the moment, which is why I'm mentioning this. But I'm handling it just fine for now. If seventeen hours is worth two standard drinks, then a linear (and very generous) extrapolation to seventy-two hours should be worth about 8 standard drinks. So... why don't I feel too bad and my cognitive functions... Okay, I'm definitely exhausted, I'm definitely slower than usual, but I'm not making the mistakes most people would be able to attribute to mental exhaustion.
All that being said, i definitely feel the urge to sleep, if for no other reason than to let my body repair itself. The interesting thing to note about this is that sleep can be staved off... perhaps indefinitely with the right food and liquid intake. -
I think there are 2 aspects to why we sleep.
1.). At some point in our evolutionary long past, we needed the ability to hibernate in order to survive. Accommodating hibernation requires sleep.
2.). As to the NEED to sleep, I believe it's just chemistry. Different chemicals in the blood bond to oxygen. Its how nutrients get carried throughout your body. Sleep is a state of reduced oxygen in the blood probably to make it easier for our kidneys or liver to remove other specific elements from the blood. -
Which frankly is bloody mental
-
Well. . about sleep. There is the new Discovery of some sort of substace that cleans out all the harmful substances /poisons from the Brain while we sleep
-
We're not that smart...yet.
-
Laughter is the error code of our brains, when things don't compute.

Weird arms
-
Well actually we now know why we sleep, we evacuate wastes during sleeping, it has been proven 1or 2 years ago. Please update your lame video.

smart enough to kill off the dinosuars. smart enough to lie to the public and deceive and by repeating the same story over and over many times they can induce a lie to make you believe the lie as as true as the very story they conditioned you to believe. yes humans are smart smart enough the convince you any theory to be true given enough careful attention and logical constrain to make it plausible. and why is it that being british antomatically make you a genius or is it just that you are damn arrogant and self obsessed, that you can't see any logic better than your own making for never realising your own pifall of intelectual doom.

There is no mystery to the actions of a bike.
The bike involves forward motion as a result of the peddling and a gravitational force which will results in it falling with a vertical moment due to this gravitational pull.
The steered front wheel inhibits the falling moment by the rider turning towards it and reversing it. The observation of a bike ridden more slowly will show it has to be corrected more frequently and greater amount than a bike ridden at a higher pace. The bike falls one way then is corrected and falls the other way and this process continues ever so subtly over it's journey. The gyroscopic force of the rotating wheels also helps this by damping the actions.
Also to support this belief it can be easily observed that the path across the ground of a bike ridden more slowly (the path of it's wheel to ground footprint) will reveal that it traverses a more winding path than a bike ridden more quickly. That is because the gravitational force remains the same but the number and size of corrections reduces over an identical distance and shorter time due to it's increased speed. Speed being a time over distance and the gravitational acceleration being a constant whether the bike is going fast or slow thus the need for greater correction differs according to speed. -
The sleep thing is actually well researched and well understood. I've seen a lot on youtube however about this rumour that we don't understand. It's all about the the concurrent build up of Adenosine throughout the day (metobolic drive) and circadian drive to fall asleep (based on our evolution of entrainment to earth's daylight schedule - a way to best distribute our energy usage throughout the 24h day/night cycle) to synthesize some more ATP (put that built up adenosine to use back by recycling A+ADP->ATP->A+ADP). So in the weirdest way possible, the analogy is actually extremely accurate --> To recharge our batteries!

i see...

how the hell we've had only explored 5%of our ocean while we have observed nearly the entire universe?
-
any question is simple... your just talking lol science has to do the work for you who cant fathom the research done for you to live how you do now.
-
You should do a video on why so many people feel the need to argue about minor issues at length on the internet.
-
OKAY, THIS IS JUST STUPID FOR THE BIKE. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU JUST SAID THAT
-
When so thing is funny, a part of your brain (I forget which) sends a signal to your nervous system telling you to laugh
-
You sleep to repair neurons. If you overwork them, they can fire signals over and over again causing anxiety. When your awake your brains has to work more and destroys brain cells faster than it can make them.
-
This ignorant nut case needs some basic physiology, as it's well known why we sleep, it's simply due our brain controls our sleep cycles due complex chemicals / commands.. and i'm not a doctor but have read some articles on this long ago. The rest of his BS is also totally out of touch with why things he talks about work, as its just basic knowledge and out there for those who wish to know. It's amazing how so many people dream up nonsense to draw a audience, then you realize you've been scammed, ha ha. what a jerk off.
