The story of "Flat Broke", the junk yard drift trike build. 1. Build cost was around $300 2. Yes that's a brake lever 3. No it isn't hooked to anything 3. No there aren't any brakes 4. Top speed 37 mph 5. Seat was from an old tractor 6. Round tubing was from a huffy slider 7. Square tubing was from the junk yard 8. Motor is a 212cc Predator from craigslist (removed the governor) 9. welding was done with a metal hot glue gun (harbor freight 90 amp flux wire welder) 10. tires (10.5" wide on 5" wheel) were found on craigslist 11.wheels (5" wheel, 9" wide) from my buddy Leroy 12. PVC from a construction site, (thanks Leroy) 13. axle was from an old workout machine (junk yard) then had keyways cut into it. 14. Foot throttle was completely redneck engineered with various shit out of the mystery parts bin but works great. 15. Exhaust was donated from a company that makes trikes professionally and felt bad for me. 16. Items I purchased new, pillow blocks, clutch (2), chain, sprocket, and a throttle linkage kit Thanks for watching!
