2. Only set your suss up when standing up on the peddles, don't set it sat down. If you sit down you load up the rear shock too much and end up setting the rear too firm and front way too soft. If you stand up, you'll get it spot on.

    Question though, for measuring the sag on the coil spring rear shock. When you mount your bike in a nurtural riding position, do you need to break stiction and give it a few bounces then hold that position then measure just like the trail bike?
