How about give him a new gun like a very weak pistol sure it has the same properties as the shotgun but it's weaker Jason recovers quick and he slows down kinda , unlimited ammo though like a magnum or something as the pistol continuously reloads one bullet though maybe the gun is only unlimited if you don't kill another counselor like ohmwrecker or if you don't miss is that fair?
