EP 191 GEDEE CAR MUSEUM he GEDEE CAR MUSEUM, the only classic car museum of its kind located in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, South India, has a collection of unique cars not to be seen anywhere else in India. The cars are a private collection of G D Naidu Charities, a social trust founded by late Sri. G D Naidu of Coimbatore, who was a renowned inventor, educationalist and philanthropist of his time. Located on the Avinashi Road the museum has more than 70 unique cars, each with a history or interesting story behind. The car museum shows the visitors the evolution of cars from the first automobile- The 1886 Benz Patent Motorwagen to the latest sports cars. The main objective is to highlight the technological progress from the birth of the car, the various innovations and inventions which happened over a period of time and the people behind it.
