GeoOrbital Wheel | Make your bike electric in 60 seconds
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
Use your bike to go up to 20 miles per hour for 20-50 miles - quick installation, universal compatibility. The Patent Pending GeoOrbital wheel is an evolution of the orbital wheel (the wheels on the TRON Motorcycles). The GeoOrbital wheel replaces a standard bicycle front wheel to turn your bike into a powerful electric bike in under 60 seconds. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1266381423/geoorbital-wheel-make-your-bike-electric-in-60-sec?ref=category_recommended https://twitter.com/adebimitanjohn https://plus.google.com/100356682043606196412

Good idea~! Good luck on it. We are country round here- wondering how it would do with the ever present sand and dirt on our paved roads getting on the drive surface?
-
Did he just say 250 miles?; Dont be insane.
-
I looove It, I belive it and I want to buy one for next summer season here in Stockholm / Sweden. :D
How where and when can it be bought? -
This is the worst concept EVER. First from the looks of it, it'll only work on front wheels which restricts you to rigid steel forks. The torque of the wheel will ripe the axle right off the fork in any other application. Why do you think most e-bikes use rear wheel drive? And then there's the weight distribution. Do you realize how awful the handling would be with 50% of your bike's weight all inside your front wheel?
-
is it safe to convert the front wheel or the rear wheel?

Love the idea, but I Wish it was more than just an idea ? More than 2 years later, still not available to the wide market. Can you even buy it ? BTW people, yes you can buy an ebike for 700$, but the battery is going to be a shit lead acid battery. If not you'll get a shitty 120 Wh bottle lithium battery or some fake big battery with chinese grade C or grade B 18650 lithium cells. If you want just a decent eBike battery, It'll run you 600 USD for a 500-600 Wh battery. I'm talking 14S4P here. If you really want range (like 60 miles on one charge), you'll have to invest in a triangle frame battery (ex : 52V 24Ah, so 1200 Wh) for minimum 800 USD. People forget tend to forget it , or to not be aware of it, but the really expensive and very most important part of any eBike is not the motor, It's the battery. The pitfall to this geoOrbital in y opinion is the spokeless wheel is probably very fragile and heavy. So please, when you say 700 bucks or so for any other ebike, specify which kind it is. In the real world, the cheapest eBike would be around : 250 USD for motor + controller, 100 USD for bike, 300 USD for the smallest battery (if you want to do 10 miles or soo with pedal assist)... An average quality eBike with grossly 30 miles range will be more like 1500-2000 USD. Let's be realistic. If you want to know what you're buy in the eBike world, go read on the Endless-Sphere web forum. That place if full of eBike and EV enthousiasts.

I want a hubcap. I do not want to see the device. It's to obvious. I like my bikes look like it is. The design is too extreme for me.
-
front wheel ebike kits are about 200 now without the battery, just like it only takes 60 to be installed a thief can remove it 2 seconds. I don't know but I say NO

Hi GeoOrbital I love your product so much I went to The Buckland Hills Mall in Manchester CT They loved it can you & your team come to the Manchester Buckland Hills Mall &Best Buy
-
The price is high because of production cost per unit. This is a good product. Someone or entity needs to put in an order large enough to bring the cost per unit down.
Help these guys, they are on to something! -
Grandioso!!!!
-
well done guys fantastic design... how much?
-
Can I buy this in canada
-
Can I use it as the front wheel on a Grace one ebike?
-
Why do we have to have this gimmicky shit marketed to us? Why do we need to "make our bike electric in 60 seconds"? Do it once, do it properly, and never have to do it again. This is just yet another stupid product to help retards prove that they are in fact retarded.
-
Wonderful!
-
how much and where to get it?
-
yes you can buy a whole E bike for less than $ 1000 now abt $700 , and they want 1000 just for the wheel. they must think people are dumb.
-
but why putting it on the front wheel?
-
You take the hub motor direct traction 500 Watts and convert it in traction by friction with the looses associated with the friction between the motor and the wheel and it will result in a 450 Watt on the wheel final power.
