While this is a good suspension it's far from perfect and this video makes a lot of false claims like "No powerloss"
Inaccurate. Maestro has loads of kickback. Also horrible anti sag.
Looks like treks fuel and remedy suspensions.

Demand pricing on premier brand name contemporary tech suspension components, licence on suspension link patents generally make up a lot of the price. e.g. Horst link, the case of Maestro and Giant excepted. Brand name component segment marketing adds its impost. It'll always be cheaper to buy RTR new than build up from the same components.

@Oxstayne and frankly, who cares? pedal kickback is the least of the diseases that are plaguing full suspension mountain bikes today. a more important aspect would be leverage ratio, or anti squat. but I love the comedy of your remark.
this bicycle suffers from both pedal bob and brake jack. The only thing that it does semi effectively is rising its rising rate. It is just a knock off of Canfield and Santa Cruz.
