that is not the Giant Cypress, since it has a suspension fork. It must be the Giant Cypress DX.

I bought a Giant Cypress DX in 2015 and regularly ride 20-40 miles a day on it, 3-5 days a week. I once did 60 miles on it in 5 hours. The upright riding position is easier on my back and wrists, and the added comfort more than makes up for any wind resistance (of concern to racing cyclists only, as wind resistance will tire you more easily and cut your time). Since my biking is more for exercise and to get out in the fresh air and sunshine, and not competitive or time or distance oriented, it makes sense to buy a bike that allows me to be more comfortable on it longer.

I bought a Cypress XL in 2013. A very nice bike. Rides smooth. On or off road. Great bike for the price. You won.t find anything like it at these Marts stores. Price was fantastic to. No problems at all. You want something reliable for years to come. Buy a giant.

I have one of these in the 2012 Model XL 251/2 frame. You can ride these bikes anywhere you like. They could be just a little bit lighter. But other then that you can ride all day and pretty fast to.

Good video..but you said this bike is built for comfort and less fatigue. Why would it then be only good for short rides? Wouldn't it be more comfortable and then the rider would like to ride much more? Why would a less comfortable bike lend itself better to longer riding? I want a bike but am trying to figure out which one. thanks

What size is the bike in your review and is it set up for you to ride? I bought an XL Cypress and the top of the bike seat sits just below my belly button. It seams a little too big but I was told it is the right size. What do you think?

Great bike, I got a really beat up one, 03 I think and just spent three hours grinding and sanding a Ball bearing that I got in teh mail that was too tight, (6002-rs) for the Bottom Bracket. pain in the butt, but now the cranks are a lot smoother, took a 1.60 ball bearing. yeahhhhh. nice ride though

Trying to decide between the Sedona DX and Cypress DX bikes. we will be buying a man's and ladies bike. My wife is around 5 foot, I am around 6 foot. We seldom ride more than 16 miles and always on a paved or screened trail. Any suggestions which to buy?
