Insane motorcycle stunt rider performing 2 up tandem wheelies with girl crashes on the street and then the fallen stunt rider is hit by another biker. This insane motorcycle accident happened during ROC 2014 Ride Of The Century in Saint Louis, MO. You'll see multiple camera angles of this motorcycle accident plus also other motorcycle stunt riders performing insane tricks and stunts leading up to the accident. Watch as a street bike stunt rider doing 2 up tandem wheelie tricks with his girlfriend aboard his motorcycle when suddenly the stunt bike rider losses control of the motorcycle and wipes out while riding a wheelie. The whole motorcycle loops out in a wheelie and flips over sending both man and woman stunt riders flying into the air and off of the motorcycle. Both tandem stunt riders land in the middle of the street. As you'll see another motorcycle stunt rider performing tricks in a wheelie directly behind the fallen tandem stunt riders can not stop in time to avoid running directly into one of the fallen bikers. Hitting the rider only seconds after getting back on his feet after wrecking a wheelie. You'll see this rider once again go flying into the air as he is hit by a stunt bike miraculously the biker that hits the fallen rider does not wreck and is able to make an epic safe riding away after hitting the fallen rider. What i believe caused the accident is the motorcycle stunt riders hand brake failed. The hand brake is a brake mounted on the left side of the handlebars next to the clutch that enables the stunt bike rider to control the rear brake from the handlebars. This is used when performing tricks and stunts where the rider is not able to use OEM or stock foot brake setup such as when doing stunts sitting on the gas tank such as in a highchair wheelies or spreaders wheelies. Those our just a few of many examples of tricks where motorcycle stunt riders use the hand brakes. But in this crash in particular the handbrake gave out or stopped working properly causing the motorcycle stunt rider to loop out and wreck a wheelie with girlfriend on board. This is a very common cause of crashes in the world of extreme freestyle street stunt riding because when any brake system is used in excess or used to much it gets very very hot in fact it gets so hot it stops working properly an fails as shown in this video it is a perfect example of what can happen when u get brake fade. Luckily everyone involved in this accident was able to get back on their motorcycles and ride away with only minor injuries and damage done to their stunt bikes. The girl who was riding tandem later went to the hospital and it was found out that the girl had a few broken ribs. It just shows how tuff this girl stunt rider is to get back on the motorcycle right after the crash an still ride with cracked and broken ribs away from the scene. The motorcycles involved in this wreck where both customized stunt bikes the first motorcycle that caused the crash was a 2002 Honda CBR600F4i an the second motorcycle involved was a 2003 Kawasaki Ninja ZX636 or ZX6R.
