After trying this (not doubting it works eventually), I found that the best method for me was to set my spawn to last location, go to the golf course, and repeatedly find a new online session until it showed in the parking lot. Took me three tries and I got it.

Does it have to be on your simeon list to find it?

I've found it once or twice, in the parking area with the Golf activity while online. But often it doesn't spawn, unless you have a particular vehicle, though the game seems to be particular about this. I've been able to find several rare cars and bikes, such as the Daemon as well, but at the time I didn't know how valuable they were.

My best guess would be to drive in the parking area and look around thoroughly, if you can't find it then drive out and go down the street a little ways then turn back and search again in the same area. if it's still not there, then I'd suggest changing vehicles and repeating. So on, and so on, until it eventually shows up. Unfortunately I think the best way to do this would be an invite only session or a solo session but I'm not sure if that will change the outcome of what you find vehicle wise. Very delicate thing, unfortunately...

Found mine while in a Albany Buccaneer by the Los Santos Paint and Spray, the one in the city.

I found this parked in the gang area in Grove St, Davis. I was driving my lowrider buccaneer

I drove around the block from the golf course parking lot and kept checking until it spawned. It took about 5-6 tries.
