This is a Ride Review of a 2016 Zero DS ZF13.0 Electric Dual Sport Motorcycle. Last year I rode the Zero SR and wanted to ride a different style Zero bike so I tried the biggest one. I would be real interested to try this off road because its marketed as a dual sport. I'm sure it capable of light off road. Check out my thoughts and observations on this cool bike. One thing I hadn't of realized is that this is not a R model Zero Bike. The R models like the SR and DSR have more powerful motors and is probably why I didn't feel it was as fast as the SR. By seat of the pants feeling I feel that the Zero SR was fastest, Victory Empulse 2nd fastest, and the Zero DS was the slowest. But don't get me wrong it still plenty fast. I also never mentioned how this would do as a commuter. Pretty good demo of the 2016 Zero DS ZF13 but you should have done some dirt/stone roads instead of all paved. Also, I'm surprised no one pointed out how reckless you are in this video. What gives you the right to cut in between all those cars?! Have you never had a motorcycle safety course?! Those cars were at the stop lights BEFORE you, so why do you get to magically cut between them all? It's not like you just did it one time but multiple times! All it takes is ONE car to cut you off at speed for you to get in an accident and go flying. Just because you're on a bike, it doesn't give you special privileges to break traffic laws. Otherwise good demo.

I only tried a S and a DSR, I hope the combination "weaker motor + less aerodynamic" won't spoil the fun too much, from your video it doesn't look like it. -

The DSR model has the newer more powerful motor, like the SR has.
