Compared to May 2015, the Hero Splendor and Honda Activa have traded positions. Where sales of the Hero Splendor decreased by 14 percent, sales of the Honda Activa increased by 26 percent. Other major gainers include the Hero HF Deluxe (20 percent), TVS XL (19 percent), Hero Glamour (28 percent) and TVS Jupiter (37 percent). Sales of the Honda CB Shine, Bajaj CT and Bajaj Pulsar registered de-growth of 27 percent, 22 percent and 13 percent respectively. Also, the Honda Dream which was part of the list in May 2015 at position 10, saw its position being taken by the TVS Jupiter scooter.Total two-wheeler sales saw an increase of 9.75 percent and stood at 1.515 million units last month. Hero Motocorp continued to be the number 1 two-wheeler maker in the country with sales increase of 1.36 percent. HMSI (Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India) continues to hold onto second place at 4.15 lakh units but registered sales increase of 17.67 percent.
