So I guess I need to point out that- and add stuff as people ask. -I was given a ticket for slowing down and stopping on a highway after being rear ended, Fighting it in court. - I was doing the speed limit after the turn. - I was going to be turning left at the next light. - And that I didn't know at the time that the video was going to have a good shot of his plate. - Yes to all you trolls out there, YES I could have done a few things different but adrenaline was kicking. - Yes some of the video is cut to avoid showing his face and plate, and the witnesses face, at the end of the video, I stopped the video (to log it as I do most of the time something has happened) and was going to restart it because my plan was to follow him to his house. But as I got up beside the witness to ask her if she called the cops, Out of the corner of my eye I see him come into my lane a bit, at the time I thought he was cutting me off again so I did a dip to avoid him and clipped the curb. And when I went down the video started to record. Now i'm not sure if it was a pre-program of a Go-Pro or if the ground hit the bottom and started, But at least there was bonus video. So count it as extra footage. The cops HAVE seen the full video and have it. So please stop asking why its gone. And LaSalle police Did see it on scene, and said he was in the wrong. Yes, I shouldn't have sped to catch up to him, I was in the proper lane because I was going to be making another left. And if I was to got to the other lane to only go back to the left lane is called jumping lanes and is wrong. I guess it can confuse other drivers. He should have gotten in the other lane, NOW that is what the po pos said. So post away internet haters, lol Van hit my back tire while I was driving (1;39 mark), then drove into me (2:33 mark), then cut me off, driving me into a curb at 70kmh wrecking my bike. Sept 18/2015 4pm (ish) So every time you see my mirrors in the bottom of the video its me looking in my mirror because he was so close to me. The guy came flying up on e while I was at the light stopping 1 foot from my back tire. He stayed 2 feet on me the whole turn. After I told him to back off (1:25 mark) he shot me the finger and got closer. As I was tap my brakes to get him to back off (not hitting my breaks, just getting the lights on) he hit my back tire. I tell him "I'm calling the cops". He said "Whats your problem?". I said "You hit my back tire". He said " You should be driving the speed limit". BUT I WAS DOING THE SPEED LIMIT, just saying.... Then he took off. But as I came out of the turn I had a study space between me and the guy in front of me as I did the speed limit. And I was going to be taking another left. So after he left the first hit I then caught up to the guy at the red light he rams me with his van. Gopro broke. Then I catch up to the guy Down the road and he comes in my lane around a turn and I swerved to avoid another collision and clipped the curb and went down doing 70kmh. At the end I shut the video off to save it and was going to restart it because at this pint I was just going to follow. The video of me on the ground, I didnt even have a chance to restart the camera, So count it as extra bonus video. When ever I catch something on video I mark it so it is easy to find then restart. My GoPro got cracked, and chopped the video into 5 smaller videos. I had to piece them together. and my phone is messing up now as well. Hospital said no broken bones but 2 months later found out I did have a broken ankle from the accident. And yes the cop know who he is and have the full version of this video. MINI UPDATE till next video. I do have a broken ankle. So he was charger with "Start not in safely" NO leaving the scene, NO hit and run, No big ticket for him. They parachuted him out of trouble. I got two tickets and he got one. I got a ticket for Slowing down and stopping on a highway "after I was rear ended. The supervisor of the investigator said that they have no worries of him hitting anyone else ever again.... How can one say that unless he is family or dead. The investigator was tripping over her self and had no clue about have the stuff I was pointing out about the accident. When I mentioned to the investigator that they are letting him go for hitting me, She asked "Did he hit you, or tap you?" Now on a bike that is moving, A tap is a hit, Both can be deadly. All will come out in court.
