bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
This weeks list is a close up look at a pair of brilliant editing moments. One from the film Ida, a cut lingers for what seems like an eternity, the other from No Country For Old Men, where the edit cuts short to remarkable effect. Let us know what you think about these 2 moments and also be sure to let us know if you have any other great moments of holding long or cutting short that we didn't mention. I just cant get enough of the videos talking about the art form that's cinema. This is great!

Speaking of editing, I think it's worth examining The Fifth Element. There's so many brilliant little moments in there. Like Zorg asking questions about the stones, which intercuts with Leeloo answering them. Or the way the Diva song intercuts with, and provides the music for, Leeloo's fight with the Mangalores.

Denouement is David Cohen? Subtitles are njot needed and are very off....
-
no country for old man is just a masterpiece.
-
Now i want to be a director
-
Great video but i just hate that movie "no country for old man"
-
Holy shit it's Bryan from VGHS!
-

-
I'm really good at guessing what is going to happen in a movie right before it happens
-
Yea, pretty accurate stuff

Following this line of thought, watch the last scene of It Follows again. Wait for it, because it is there.

I thank YouTube algorithm fo recommending this to me. Now I'm a subscriber.

Beautiful analysis

I really appreciate the over-analyzing. Seriously, from a film watchers perspective, it's on point. However, from an average movie goers perspective, the beauty of these intricacies goes mostly unnoticed. Thanks.

There is a similarity between Ida scene and game of thrones S6E10 making the camera focus on the window and not the actor
-
I came from Every Frame A Painting then had to endure this.
-
These are so great. The fact that you create a comparably weaker scene to justify the original's brilliance is perfect.
-
So this channel is like Every frame a Painting, except very shallow and only focusing on the obvious? When a director makes a long cut on an empty scene that means something important? No way, I just thought they got paid by the hour and let the camera roll... /s

I love your channel. It gives me so much inspiration for my own projects, thank you!

Too bad the editing coulden't make up fpr the terrible nonsensical story of No Country For Old Men.
