Ever heard of a country where bicycles outnumber the population? The Netherlands easily passes for that. Neither age nor social status discriminate anyone from riding a bicycle in this country where cycling is undoubtedly a deeply entrenched culture. And as Sylvia Chebet reports, the way the bicycle is viewed in Kenya is quite different from in the Netherlands also known as Holland.
