This narrator is an idiot. A tire can handle a lot more than just 8 psi, and if you look at the gauge, it wasn't even measuring pressure in psi.

Long be for the PNEUMATIC tire was invented in 1888, iron then later steel bands were fitted to wooden wheels and were called tires because they tied the wheel together. The first solid rubber tire was produced in 1846 by Thomas Hancock. Thanks to it's unbeatable durability it remained the tire of choice long after the appearance of the pneumatic tire. Of course Mr. Hancock would have spelled the word tire with a "y" not an "i" like us yanks. A little research and the phrase "pneumatic tire" would more accurately inform the uninformed.

"They all have to survive at least 8 Pounds per square inch of pressure"
I hope they mean 8 Bar which is about 116 PSI, 8 PSI is tiny. -
They have to withstand 8 PSI? Who the fuck would put that little pressure into a bike tire. In addition, the meter measures bar, not PSI. (1 bar = 1 atm = 14.7 psi)
-
They all have to manage at least 8psi? yeh were only talking about fatbikes hear. neal, get over hear!
-
But these are tubeless tyres... How about manufacturing the tubes?
-
I think he's confused "Bar" with "PSI" as 8PSI is not a great pressure and the gauge is marked in "BAR"
-
White folks make the world a great place to live.
-
20 BAR not PSI..its quite a huge pressure even more for an mtb tyre like this
-
20psi burst pressure? Someone screwed up the narration I think.
-
whats this stuff about 8 pounds per square inch, and being able to handle 20.
i keep 90 lbs/in squared in mine, did the announcer mean to say 8/20 bar? -
Why is tires spelled wrong?
