Absolutely right, cycling in dark need a high quality bike light.
-
do they use cateye rapid x2 or x3 rear lights?
-
Using a seSense Icon on the back very bright, and an exposure at the frontside :)
-
what about daytime rear lights? any suggestions? I know the new bontrager light is supposed to be designed for both

Nice vid, I'd like to see you cover headtorches. They have a few additional benefits to static fixed lights - you can briefly light up a drivers face to make sure they have seen you at a dark junction, you can flash (by moving head) oncoming vehicles with their Main Beam still on, you can light up round corners or into hedges to look at Mr Badger who just crossed your path and if you puncture you have hands-free light. You can also have it super-bright and dip it to below eyeline to avoid dazzling oncoming just by tilting head.
Not sure of the pros and cons of having the strap round your head or round the helmet so would like to see your views on that one. UK based Alpkit do some really nice budget headtorches. CLOCKS ARE GOING BACK SOON!!! BRING OUT THE LIGHTS! :))) -
I cant stand those gay little hats they wear under the helmets.

Hi.. i have the cateye rapid x3 front lights but the rubber band that is provided is not long enough to hold it onto the front where its located on the bikes in the video. Does anyone know where to buy longer rubber bands like the ones in the videos.
-
Where can I buy those Cateye strip lights?
-
I dont know the laws where you are but in California, you can get a DUI (driving under the influence) on a bicycle.
-
I want this bright bike light https://plus.google.com/110042050761155353887/posts/SgdMU72YZGY
-
whats the name of these lights?
-
how did you guys mount the rapidx to the head tube? the included rubber bands are only big enough for going around handlebars, forks, seat tubes, seat stays and other smaller diameters.
-
how much were those frames each??
-
What kind of handlebars are those? Can I fit them to my fixie?
-
Neat. Love the location of the front light, helps to keep that handlebar uncluttered.

I have a pair of bike lights from Blitzu, the Cyborg 168T and 168H, Extremely Bright Light! Very impressed with the quality and light output.
-
I like the first phrase, standing in front of two bikes that probably worths more than 5000 each :))

Great video guys but would also suggest that you consider having dimable or twin power rear lights. This allows you to have them set on max when your riding alone down dark roads and need approaching traffic to see you from a distance but also to reduce the brightness when your riding in a group so you dont send your mates into epileptic fits.

Hi Team GCN , greetings from sunny Singapore. Great & informative clip, need your kind assistance to advice on the light setup you have on your bikes. They look like Cateye Rapid X / X2 /X3 ? cheers & have a fantabulous Day.

excellent video..thanks, very very much shopping for a new light on my new bike and tired of the time & frustration spent on the cheap cree lights from eBay. Been through 3 and tired of the battery sliding down top tube + plus it looks chunky
