Degreaser = rust increaser and bearing destroyer.
-
What is included in that soapy water? Is that only water and soap??
-
scrubbing bubbles works great

I always read, that´s the best not to use drivetrain cleaning products for the chain, because they dissolve the grease from the chain joints. New grease does not come there anymore. And sorry for any mistakes: English is not my native language.

It's totally unneccesary to soak and degrease every time or once a week a bike in this manner!! You need to re-lubricate everything after. It's a totally waste of time, products for cleaning, lunbricants and not needed pollution.
Just remove the mud with some wet sponge WITHOUT water that drain off, dry everything fast after it. If the chain need to be lubricated, clean with wd40 and after it dries, relube. No need for degreaser more than a couple of times a year. -
What do you guys think of paraffin waxed chains? can you do a comparison video of a waxed chain vs a lubed one??!
-
Holy cow!!! THIS is a "rapid" wash?! What does he do when he gives it a thorough wash? He must completely dismantle the bike so he can clean EVERY part individually.
-
Did you really know what I was thinking?
-
So just wondering, can you lube over dried WD40, or other similar products, or do you have to clean it off first? Possibly a stupid question...but I need the answer 😂
-
This is much easier than a jet wash at the local garage...
-
And how to clean your bike if you live in a block and you don't have a place to do that outside? Only hallway and bathtub...
I've taped my bathtub with foil and tear a hole for dirty water to come down the sink hole. Rather acrobatic performance, not looking forward to do that regularly. Any smart ideas fellow bikers? -
running out of ideas?
