This may be a bit late, but you don't have to beat the Delta Episode for the Gen 2 starters. I just walked into my house and back out again, and got my Totodile

So do I really have to beat the game three times to get all starters, 2 times on let's say Omega Ruby and 1 time on alpha (as it would be my main)? ugh the time consuming to get them all. But I'll still enjoy it.
So far I've been collecting Pokemon Black, X and Y, ORAS, and I'll be getting Pokemon White 2 maybe... By the looks of it I might not need it to collect them all. -
