http://www.bikeberry.com - In this video, BikeBerry.com's Technician, Jonny troubleshoots on how to install and test your 66cc, 80cc, or 48cc bicycle engine electrical components the easy way. This is great for any 2-stroke bike engine kit like, Grubee SkyHawks, StarFires, Flying Horses, RAW, and much more! Making sure you're getting spark and learning the tips and tricks needed to keep your engine in top shape will improve your motor performance and keep it running longer and consistent. Jonny gives clear advice in properly testing your magneto loop set, your electron ignition coil (CDI), and your spark plug on your motorized bicycle. This troubleshoot guide has great tips and tricks, but it is not the absolute way of installing and testing your electric parts. hi . spark is there but engine isnt running at all:(
-
I can't tell what's up with this guy
-
Does it matter what size spark plug? Do you have to replace the magneto loop offten?
-
2:40😂😂😂😂 the guy put his hand down for him
-
is the magneto 6V?
-
1:32 I'm dead 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

what happens if my cdi has 100k ohms?
right now my bike runs nice but after 5 minutes starts bogging no mixture issue and no airleaks.... -
how much voltage does the white wire output when the motor runs ?
-
i cannot get a spark from my spark plug. i keep looking for information but my wires are a little different and go as follows my kill switch has a black and a red wire. my magneto only has 2 wires a black and a blue. the cdi or black little box only has a blue and a black wire. so i color matched and then put the red wire with the 2 blues. is this the correct way or what should i do to complete the circuit and get a spark. please note that my magneto did not come with a grounding wire ? i have the 2 stroke 80cc flying horse kit. please help

what setting did you put on the ohms meter?
-
What if my magneto reads 001
-
this guy is a wacko
-
you can check for spark visually, or, physically. it you hold the plug wrong, you'll know right away.
Ask me how I know. lol -
cheers brah. complete legend!

I just opened on from the mail and the igniter tests at 507 and the magneto at 378. Neither are within the specs of this video. Are specs wrong? Because those are the same readings I got on the old ones, which is why I ordered new ones. I have had my bike for 6 weeks now with no start up.. WTF!

1.) You got the red (+) positive lead and the black (-) negative lead in the wrong connectors. 2.) If the CDI is supposedly be between 6-8 ohms, then the correct ohm setting should be set on the 200 ohm range (according to my ohm meter or multi-meter range setting). 3.) I try it your way on testing my CDI and I got a reading of 1.063 ohms on the 2k ohms (2,000 ohms) setting and on my second CDI which is brand new and not used, I got a reading of 1.039 ohms still in the 2k ohms (2,000 ohms) setting. 4.) I had used the first CDI when after 16 miles of use my engine died or shut off and wouldn't start back up! 5.) My spark plug is two months old, the first CDI is about a month old and the magneto is less than two weeks old, so please tell me what could be the problem on why my engine shut off or wouldn't start even though the gas tank have a tank full of gasoline? 6.) Oh by the way my carburetor had run over 1100+ plus miles before I purchase the electrical parts for replacement, could that be the problem on why my engine shutting down, the carburetor? (and it had leaked gasoline like crazy!)

I don't like the idea of the kill switch (momentary on) shorting the to main leads together from the main power source(magneto). I use an on/off key switch to cut the positive lead from the coil so it doesn't short the coil and mag at the sametime.

I have a blue black and white wire coming from the magneto loop and I have a red and a black wire coming from the kill switch and the
Black box in the middle I can't think of the name of has 4 connection slots I've tried the all the possible combinations of wiring with these and still can't get the spark plug to spark when I turn the back tire and the kit is brand-new could you tell me exactly how to wire it correctly? -
Hi How do you measure the distance between coil and magnet so it works properly.
-
HELP. I have similar problems with the kill switch but should mine come with a male adapter or no? If not how do i put the kill switch on if its two separate red and black wires?
