Even if you are not tall you can still ride just about any motorcycle with a little bit of practice. Here is how I do it. I do realize that this is not going to work for everyone. If you are much shorter than I am, I agree that you may not be able to get comfortable with taller bikes. In my opinion, any MSF course would be crazy to teach your compensation methods. This particular seat height is too tall for you, sir. It is poor advice to tell others to try to keep bikes from falling using those methods. Some folks are even shorter than you, have worse balance ability, so those riders are going to eventually have an all- screwed up day trying to routinely do what you are showing them they should attempt what to do.

These trail bikes are too tall, period. No need for them to be designed like that... I'm 5ft 10in (barefoot) / 32.5in inseam and I feel uncomfortable as hell in traffic when I ride my brother's 1200 GS Adventure, and I've been riding daily for 9 years.

in traffic, ur bike stopped becasue of ur mistake. u cant re start it that way . this is not too practical yet i gave a tumbs up.
