Hey bud. I'm working on a 1979 Yamaha xs850. I'm looking for some parts. Think you could get back to me and help me out?

Thanks for sharing!I would like to ask for your advice,i'm replacing the headlight on my xj and the wiring is a nightmare,i got all the wiring out of the old headlight, but there are so many cables and connectors so have serious trouble fitting them into the new headlight, what should i do?

You are joining a lot of wires, very close to the molex type connectors, sometimes even 2 joins. I know you said it was saving money, but...
The pins are really cheap, and a pin extractor is a couple of quid, free if you make one.
All that time, solder, twisting wires, heat gun, shrink tube etc would be helped by putting a new pin on the end and pushing it into the molex... where you can obviously. :)
If it was a bike I was going to use, I'd probably be replacing most of the wires with new, no knowing how many intermittent faults are in old wire that has been heated and vibrated to death on a motorbike.
Saying that though, I did like your video. -

For a wiring video this was a short one but full of useful info so good job! I stay away from wiring as I suck at it I wish more people (like the one that tried to wire this bike before you) would realize when they don't know what they are doing and just stop. However it all worked out and it runs so that is awesome.
