Thank you for this awesome video, I just wrapped my handlebars for the first time and I'm pretty proud of the result thanks to you!
-
I'm going for the method one.. even through the rotation of the top it's not perfect still the tape looks better
-
After watching a few other wrapping videos, I think this just needs a mike drop at the end.
Well done, Mr. Jones. -
Best instruction video so far.

Great video, thanks very much, worked a treat for me

You guys are frickin awesome. Fantastic video--i realized why I've been doing it wrong all these years
-
the #3 wins ! :-)
we like to use a tissue duct tape, the one used by who repair automobile electric cables.
it is very soft and have a good feeling if don't use bike gloves. -
A lot of people argue with me saying you should always wrap to the inside of the bars saying that pro mechanics do it this way. I'm glad to see that you agree with me that your hands and fingers twist to the outside so you should always wrap to the outside on both sides. You will see on most box's of tape they will show the same thing, very well explained on the video by you.

Amazing video, thx!

the whole point of the figure 8 is to avoid having to use the cheater strip.. smh
-
For the ending tape, using simple electric tape is enough?

I worked in bike shops for years when a younger man and can tell you that this guy teaches the right way to wrap. I learned a thing or two also. Nicely done! The only thing I would add is at 10:32 when he finished with electrical tape, stretch tight first wrap, less snug the second and then finish the last wrap with very little or no stretch at all. He did do that if you watch closely but didn't explain what he was doing. That's really important so that it doesn't let go down the road.

Excellent, thanks
