vintage all the way! im on a drop bar bike, but i still love it. 1987 bertoni hand made in Italy. My favorite part is flying past some new age biker in spandex riding is the totally wrong gear.

bike shops promote racing drop bar bicycles because they sell more things that goes with it gotta buy the 100$ pedals, 150$ shoes, 100$ sun glasses, heart monitor, 100$ bike computer, the whole outfit totaling 300$+ , from head to toe that cost several hundreds more. can't wear cheap cotton Ts and jeans and flip flop on a road racing bike but hipsters on their fixed ss bikes can

Could not agree more. Same thing in Australia, magazines & shops are full of sports bikes. Want something to ride to work, in work clothes? Sorry, they don't have it. Excellent series by the way. One note of criticism, the clips would be better if four were combined into say five minutes instead of 90 seconds each. I'm looking for a Raleigh now but I'd settle for a BSA. Cheers.
