Thanks for your nice video. I can't wait to do this ride! Could you tell me what those spiky things are on the bridge at 10:00? Could those puncture your tires? What are those things?

Thanks. Keep posting videos!

To Maggie,
Yes, it is a tougher section of the trail as in looser gravel on most of the trail. In my opinion it is like that mainly due to not a lot of people use it to compact the gravel, but it's not that bad. And the section from Ellensburg to Vantage supposed to be the same. I haven't done it yet that leg of this trail but all my research said that it's the same or worse as Cle Elum to Ellensburg section. I have an Intermediate Mountain Bike and it was adequate for the ride. But I must let you know that these Tunnels from Cle Elum to Ellensburg are closed due to deteriorating conditions and I made my video to call attention to these tunnels by raising awareness so they can be fixed, but you could still ride through them but do so at your own risk. I can't remember how long it took to ride this stretch of trail but it all depends on your personal fitness level and whether you want to stop to enjoy the scenery.
Hope it helps. -
Nice, thanks for posting this. I always wondered what the trail was like after Cle Elum. I really wonder what it's like after Ellensburg (I hear it's a tough go due to the trail conditions and permit requirements to cross U.S. Army land). Would love to see a video of that if you ever do it.

To an Idiot and you know who you are. I don't owe you anymore explanations. So stop wasting everyone's time your idiotic comments will be removed. Because on stupid questions there are no smart answers. It's anal morons like you that ruining outdoors for the rest of us.

Did you stop to think, that just maybe this video was made and posted on youtube. To call attention to these tunnels and to showcase the beautiful scenery that is out there and to raise interest for the people who otherwise would not know about this area. So that funds can be allocated to fix these tunnels, because they have been closed for a very long time. And if no one knows about them than no one will demand them to be FIXED!
