This looks wierd. To me it looks like the fan blades, in the beginning of the video, and high pressure blades are spinning in the wrong direction and wold cancel out the thrust. Could someone explained this to me?

Am I misunderstanding how a Jet engine works or is the compressor blades running in the opposite direction of how they are supposed to. Ok now I'm confused

But what turns the blades? An electric motor. I mean what mechanical device is actually getting the engine started and going?
