"Tall rider"?! Dude says he is 6'1". Was this video shot in Lilliputia? 6'1" is not short but it's not that tall, it's like taller than average. It's still within the 95 percentile. This is significant because most things are ergonomically designed to accommodate the 95 percent.
If you say "tall rider" I want to see some one at least as tall as I am. (6'5") -
the sound of this bike would make me insane after 10 miles.

6'1" is not that tall. He looked too tall for it, but I'm no expert. I wasn't crazy about whirring sound either. Still looking for comfortable cruiser

I really wanted to go from a ZX10R to a K1600GTL but the display and V-shaped handle bars on the GTL killed it for me... So the GS Adventure won... After all it's not like we've got a lot of options in Germany.

@3:20 pushing it forward with the kickstand down is a sure way to halfway fold up the stand so when u set id down it falls right over ........dint ask how i know😥

The K1600 is becoming famous for replacing water pumps and horrible metal finish. Great bike as long as it's under warrantee. !!

A week ago today I bought the GTL, next day I ordered a Russell Day Long seat. I've owned over a dozen bikes over the last 3 decades, this bike is incredible, never experienced anything like it.

Overpriced , get a Triumph Tiger 1200 Explorer for half the price and way more versatile , more low end torque and better cornering

My guess is bike manufacturers are shooting dead center of the height of the riding / buying public with most bike lines. If you are over 6' - 0" you are going to want to make mods for comfort eventually. I ride an 1100 Spirit and am wanting a more comfortable seat mod and possible 1.5 to 2" further forward foot controls. Or at least hiway pegs. I'm 6' - 1" tall.
