how beautiful!

I was surprised to hear the Cradle Song. It is a Romanian Christmas carol (called Legănelul lui Isus) and it sounds magnificent :) .

I am "discovering" Katie's talent only today. I am simply conquered! I especially got touched by the "Plane song": after listening to her telling about the child memory the song's about, as the whistle melody started on the very first enchanted notes, I exploded in tears, overwhelmed by the representation of a true scenario of mellow feelings and palpable memories.

How could anybody that likes music, of any genre, not give this a listen.
-
great music
-

Tu reste superbe.

Katie Melua & TheGori Women's Choir : Bravissimo! Katie is British-Georgian,
singing with a Georgian choir in Ukrainian with absolutely no accent!
This year,
the Carol of the Bells - or Schedryk, as it is called in the original Ukrainian
- turns 100 years old! It needs no advertising - it has carved out its place as a cultural treasure and
captivated people all over the world. It is an ambassador of spirituality,
respect and love. We need only remind the world that it originated from
UKRAINIAN hearts, because unfortunately people are not always aware of the nest
from which this Christmas swallow soared!
