I love Marc's beanie with its little Pom pom:D

my bike weights about 20kg and I use it for climbing and I'm only 13 years old but your fully grown men and your complaining about using a 16kg bike downhill.

Cheap light or strong, I choose cheap and strong every time
-
I switched from riding an aluminium enduro to a carbon one and i love it.

What this tells me is that it is OK to have a heavier bike. Were times from several runs averaged together? You've got to wonder how much of this is psychological. Having said that, when I rode my friend's Yeti SB6C (carbon fiber 160mm travel), it was so easy to pedal. It made me want to shed several pounds off my bike.

i must admit the music was soo bad, that its accually make the video good.

The lighter the better as long as its strong enough to withstand your type of riding. It great to get as light of a bike you can afford but at a certain point the weight saving vs price ratio becomes not worth it for the everyday rider.

So then unless your racing weight is not an issues in time.
The biggest issue is the handling or at least thats what I got from this video. -

I'm 140 pounds (63.5 kg) and my trail bike, which I also commute on, is 46 pounds (20.9 kg). :/

Could you please do a video on total weight. Is a 70Kg rider with a 15Kg bike equal to a 75Kg rider with a 10Kg bike?
