Made in China - Electric Bike Documentary
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
Electric bicycles are fantastic vehicles for many people's daily commutes. http://www.solarbike.com.au/ They are fast, healthy, fun, quiet and require very little energy. They will certainly be a vehicle of the future for many people. Converting your own bicycle to make it electric is a simple and enjoyable process and we hope to help you do this by providing you with all the support you could possibly need and also the best components available to do this. The conversion kits can be put on nearly any bicycle to make it electric. It's fun and easy to reduce your carbon footprint by replacing your car with an electric bike. If you want to be really green then we can provide you with both the knowledge and the means to make it solar powered! Solar Bike aims to be a small research and development business that develops renewable technology and helps everyone start riding electric bicycles around rather than using their cars. The business was founded by Matthew Timmins and Wenxu Zhou, both research scientists at the University of Western Australia with key interests and ongoing research into algal biofuel technology - click here to see some of our recent publications in scientific journals (1, 2, 3). We firmly believe that using solar powered bicycles is one of the best methods of reducing our dependence on fossil fuels and minimising environmental damage caused by carbon dioxide emissions. If any profits are made from this business they will always go to the development of renewable energy research Made in China - Electric Bike Documentary

Thanks for the behind-the-scenes look. I recently purchased a 1500W rear hub motor kit with sine wave controller from Shanghai for an e-bike conversion. I'm replacing almost everything on my old mountain bike but the frame and seat. It would have been a lot cheaper to buy a mountain bike with suspension and disk brakes. I'm testing the batteries now (new, all very good 3400 mAh Panasonic) and getting ready to build a 48V battery pack that can source up to 1800 watt hours. My e-bike intentionally looks like a thrashed out old bike with a steel ammo can on the rear rack for storage, but that is the battery and electronics box. It's a stealth e-bike. :-)

Have you seen fold-able Chinese paper fan 紙摺扇? Making a full circle of this fan structure can become wheel. Instead of air inflated tire, we can think of something else as well.
