Mondo is a large established Korean automotive company, the Footloose comes with a two year limited warranty.

@ElectricBikeReview.com Did you try the hill again once you put it in Auto gear mode?

I have one and I climb a big hill to work every day. Mine's always in Automatic mode and on a big hill it just changes gear down and up we go. I've overtaken many cyclists going up big hills. (In fact the only time they catch me again is on downhills because the EU version is limited to 26km/h and so won't let me go any faster!)

i never will buy one bike like this.

Ugly looking bike

for $4000 i could buy a brand new 250cc scooter and ride up that hill right past you. I guess if you only live somewhere flat this would be ok.

With this model the features clearly don't justify the price.

Very nice piece of design, but as we all know that does not always translate well to the real world!

A superb looking bike! If they can fix the noise and hill climbing issues, this will sell really well.

By the way, have you test driven the yike bike yet?

I can hardly wait for this technology to appear in bikes athat aren't priced for ONE PERCENTERS 8-)

So if the battery is depleted you can't generate enough energy in the generator to still power the bike, correct?

For that price 4 grand!!, can't make it up a hill???, I'm scratching my head very hard on this bike., nice design thought, most definitely needs some more adjustments.

Great review. I saw this bike in pictures and thought it was really cool, but now it just seems like a toy. I am, however, looking forward to what it could be.
