All new tracks in MK8 below! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajBQmuWp94U This footage was taken at E3 2013 of the demo for Mario Kart 8. Watch in 720p! I drive into the wall at the beginning because I didn't notice it was on gyro mode. lol Track 1: Mario Circuit-like track shaped in a figure 8. Track 2: New town track with where you can ride on the sides of the walls Track 3: New Luigi's Mansion-like track with an underwater section. Since this is the demo, there are 3 tracks that were playable and 12 characters either with a bike or kart (you had no choice on vehicle). No new items were shown in the demo and various features are absent at the moment such as looking backwards, tilting on non-glider jumps, wheeling on bikes, and only 2 lap tracks. The CPU's also were most likely on easy and the speed class might have only been 100cc. There may be more but this is what I noticed/remember. I talked to a person there who is one of the translators for the game and he asked for feedback so I mentioned the things above and gave him my opinions. He knew all the tracks that were in the game (couldn't tell me obviously) and I mentioned that I was hoping they would have more than 32 and he nodded. The Mario Kart 7 demo at E3 2011 (playable 6 months before game release) was entirely missing tricks so it's likely that more will be added to the driving mechanics before MK8's release in spring 2014. For those wondering about the gamepad screen, you can see everyone's items and the mini map. But yeah, enjoy the video. The graphics are even more incredible when watching live. :)
