Midsize Post Modern Cruiser Shootout
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
Kawasaki’s new Vulcan S forced us to ride these motorcycles again, and now we’re glad we did. Harley’s Street 750 and the new Vulcan are within 10 pounds, 1 horsepower and 400 dollars of each other. And the different-but-still-growing-on-us Honda CTX700N belongs in the mix as well. For the kind of riding most of us actually do most of the time, 700 or so cubic centimeters for around $7k seems like a pretty good place to be. Blatting around town, that is, in pursuit of one of MO’s secondary missions (keep Starbucks afloat), with the occasional blast out into the hinterlands to sniff the wildflowers – courtesy of the recent merciful rains here in SoCal – and ride like MOrons a little. A few months ago I bought the 2016 Harley Street 750. I love the acceleration and how easy it is to maneuver. I picked it over the Kawasaki because the I was not crazy about the Kawasaki salesman. Harley sales team was great. The Harley is actually lighter than the Kawasaki by 10 lbs at 489 lbs. AT only 5ft tall, I did install Harley's lower seat and lower black shocks. The bike is now all blacked out and very sharp looking. I do believe in a couple of years I might want something more. Maybe a Victory Octane. Thanks for the video.

Military slap promotion structure lawn effective fresh chaos.

All 3 are really ugly.
-
Slap the Kawi with a 1000 that's decently tuned, give it a slightly taller seat and more neutral pegs and I'd go straight to it.
Basically, a sub 600-pound cruiser with a neutral seating position made for a 6'0-6'2 guy that has at least 80-90+ ft-lbs and 100-110+ HP. -
It's now 2017 model time. I'm looking at the Kawasaki 650, but wondering whether the suspension downside as identified in this 2015 review has been changed for a better result? Would prefer a shaft drive as well. Otherwise I like the styling. But if the suspension problem is still extant, then I may go with the Honda. No fan of the Harley.

The Royal Enfield (in Desert Storm or Battle Green color) is missing here ...

Will a shock upgrade fix the kawasaki's suspension issue?
-
"They dont want to hear us" Why would we be watching the video if we didnt want to hear you talk? I didnt hear enough!
-
Ive just bought the Vulcan, very pleased with its performance. 2 minor points aren that the back suspension is hard and doesnt sound that good. But I will buy a loud pipe for it at some point. Overall Im very happy with the bike.
-
Notice they didn't let us hear any of the bikes? heh
-
And I do have to say you can fix the Harley but Arlen Ness cannot fix those two jab bikes those things are freaking ugly
-
Please stay away from the Harley they're made in India show Harley where to stick it
-
no m50 suzuki
-
The sound recording of the cafe conversation sucks a**. Please consider using boom mics or something else that will prevent the background noise which you try to cover with the music.
-
Honda best mpg and most reliable
-
i love honda
-
too casual
-
I probably should ignore you guys rear suspension complaint since it was adjusted for a women's weight .i know you test out of the box but I feel you guys were unfair to the Vulcan s rear suspension

I just got a 2016 Harley Street 750 and I love that bike. They fixed the bad brakes from 2015. Now it has ABS and it has a Porsche motor. But like he said there are some stuff I want to "fix" on it and I'm excited to make it custom.
