Moots Cycles 35th Vamoots RSL Limited Edition Road Bike Let’s all help Moots Cycles celebrate its 35th anniversary! The builder of handcrafted bikes based in Steamboat Springs has designed the Vamoots RSL Limited Edition road bike to let us all in on the party. Fifty 35th Anniversary cycles will be built and made available worldwide. Each frame will be numbered in the sequence in which it was ordered. What do you get? Moots will deliver to you a Vamoots RSL Limited Edition road bike with a Shimano Di2 group set. Spectrum Powder Works will paint the frame in a Colorado flag–inspired color scheme. The bike will feature a painted latest-model Moots carbon tapered fork; a custom-etched-pattern RSL stem and cinch post; polished silver aluminum faceplate, set collar, side plates, Chris King headset, and hubs; ENVE Composites carbon SES 4.5 rims with frame-matching decals and Chris King hubs; a white leather Fizik Aliante saddle; and a matching painted Silca frame pump. “We selected the Vamoots RSL for our limited-edition anniversary bicycle as it represents the culmination of 35 years of bicycle-design innovation and manufacturing,” says marketing manager Jon Cariveau. The 35th Vamoots RSL-LE features the Moots butted titanium tube set, which makes the bike lightweight and maintains stiffness and durability. It’s combined with the Moots tapered technology to maximize bottom bracket stiffness for quick acceleration. The 44 mm stock head tube ensures oomph. The bicycle will be available in nine stock sizes as well as custom sizing (this is included with the price). All angles, tube lengths, tube diameters, and wall thicknesses are size selected among the nine sizes and designs to create your perfect ride.
