I'm thinking about getting cheaper 29+ss, I'll post vid if I do, probably be couple months though with all I got going on for awhile

My bike was 53lbs and I float on that thing after well over 2000 miles on it. I could just barley keep up with slow traffic but it would eat away at my stamina in maybe 1 and a half or 2 minutes of pedaling at speed. I can't even imagine how fast I would be on a 37lb bike.

is heavy weight ?? 1-regular weight 2- to much weight ... this fatbike maybe can I give upgrade? thanks!!

just saw your video...not sure if you still have this bike, but do you think this bike this will hold up for a guy like me? 6 ft. 1in. 280 pounds? I'm overweight, but looking at this bike for exercise.

Thanks for the review. I am thinking about getting a fat bike from Bikes Direct for my daily commuter. Currently I ride a Specialized Sirrus, which does okay during the summer months, but like right now, the lime trail that I take is pretty much impassable with anything less than mountain bike tires. I don't necessarily like to take the busy streets to get to work (especially in the afternoon), and I sometimes wish that I could ride on nicer days in the winter on the trail. SO I am looking at selling my Sirrus and just sinking the money into a Gravity Bullseye Monster. One thing the Motobecane has over the Gravity Bullseye line is the gearing, the Motobecane has a 10 speed rear end vs the 8 speed. Since I am not out to run races, I figure the 8 speed is fine, I can always upgrade later. I will probably at some point upgrade the tires too, and go tubeless.

You are a pretty smart man.
Not pretty to me, but ya know. ;)
Skip the tubeless in this case, add baby powder in the tires. -
Can those tires be used tubeless ?

Great, honest and well-rounded review! Good work!

Good evening I have a question about fat bike and I might want to get one. . I like to do is ride the bike around city/town and it take me places that I need to be at. I am not sure if the fat bike is for me and don't want to wast my money on fat bike if it wont do good. For a person who just want to ride bike places to take them places where they need to be. Do you think the fat bike is for me? I am not sure if you do get on and read it but if you do read it. Plz reply back.

Hey Bullet, enjoy your video's. Cant seem to make up my mind, want a Trek Farley, but they are impossible to get in Missouri here. Can get a Surly Pugsley, or Salsa Mukluk 3. Not sure if I want to go with a cheaper one from Bikes Direct, or get a better Surly, or Salsa. Not a pro or anything, love to trail ride, did try a Pugsley and liked it. What would you suggest. Get a good one, or a cheaper one. Do have a Trek Marlin, but really want a fat bike. Take care, thanks for the great video's.
