Your video is well done and very informative Jerry. Those look like some nice trails. 2016 Motobecane Boris X7 here.

I feel the same about my first fat bike, the Boris X9. I'm south of the M-D line , so very little snow. What we do have is plenty of dirt, rocks, and roots, which this bike handles with ease. I've been an MTB rider for about 16yrs, road riding for about ten. Although I'm spoiled by a full suspension mtn bike, this hardtail fat bike is fun to ride.

just saw your video...not sure if you still have this bike, but do you think this bike (Boris X7) this will hold up for a guy like me? 6 ft. 1in. 280 pounds? I'm overweight, but looking at this bike for exercise.

What size frame is that Sturgis?

The butterfly bars on her bike are awesome! I have a pair on my Hybrid bike, they allow me to stay out a lot longer by offering more places to put my hands while pedaling. I'm looking at purchasing my fat bike from Bike's Direct, though I may go with an X5 or an X7 pending on how much my Hybrid brings in when I get it sold. My Specialized Hybrid is nice, but it's only useful 5 months out o the season riding to work on a day to day basis. I want to expand my season so I can ride on "nicer" days in the winter.

Nice review, I'm looking at these exact bikes. I've been a bit concerned about quality and such but it appears that you and your wife are quite experienced riders and you like them so that makes me feel pretty good about them. Thanks!
