The car was positioned way too far to the right. Regardless, the biker had a clear view of the car and plenty of room to manoeuvre, so, I'm not sure how he hit it.

You shouldn't get that close to cars because majority of them don't pay attention or can't even see you on that bike.

I don't get all these arguments. The car, clear as day, abruptly changed lanes while a rider was about to split passed it. If someone changes lanes like that close in front of you causing you to rear end them, it's their fault if you can prove what happened.
