how did you get the front sprocket to freewheel?

Nice. I keep watching this over and over. I'm starting to build my second bike. This time with the jackshaft kit. I can't wait. Thanks for sharing.

is that a 26 or 29" frame

Badass. Great job.

cool idea, but why not just use the bottom bracket as a jack shaft? you could take off the left crank arm and attach a large sprocket on the spindle. there is no need for a jack shaft since the bottom bracket acts as one, that way you're not adding unnecessary weight to the bike. since the chain from the motor is driving the sprocket on the left hand side of the bottom bracket and not a sprocket on an added jack shaft, that means you can have a triple chainring crank set on the right hand side of the bottom bracket and be able to use all the gears just like any normal bike. if I did it this way I would cut off the crank arm on the triple chainring crankset, and try to make what's leftover from the cut as symmetrical and evenly weighted as possible so there is as little unevenly distributed weight being thrown around as possible. if gear reduction is an issue, you can get a triple chainring crankset with lower gear ratios, and a freewheel with lower gear ratios as well. so far I have yet to see a motorized bike done this way.

GIVE ME SOME POINTERS, I LIKE THE JACKSHAFT KIT, BUT BEFORE I CAN GET TO THAT I NEED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF THE SCREWS FROM THE MOTOR MOUNT THEY KEEP SNAPPING AT THE QUICK. wow sorry about that caps lock is off now can you help got any suggestions. i have to drill out 3 out of 4 tonight, seems to be the main problem. i have a 2 stroke it's my first build. alot of headaches right now i'm trying to decide whether i need to weld a base to the frame to mount the motor on that will keep it in place. the screws have snapped 3 times everytime i ride it. so far i haven't even burned 1 tank of gas. i spend more time working on it than riding it. HELP if you can I've followed the instructions to the letter.
