Mountain Bike Exercise

http://myachillesrupture.com - It was a beautiful day in MI today and I was itching to ride my mountain bike for distance as well as a bit of endurance riding. It was a great run and the Achilles Tendon felt really good. I can tell that I still need to work on more consistent mountain bike riding....especially on hills. Speed and stamina are other areas that I need more focused attention on, but I was happy with my effort today. As you know, each exercise has certain movements that utilize the muscles, bones and related tissues in different ways and mountain biking is no different. Thanks for watching.

Hey man, let me ask you: i see you're coming up on about 4 years past your injury. How does your tendon respond to you REALLY digging in on the bicycle now? I guess the best way to frame the question is: can you go as hard as you felt you could before the injury or does it still hurt and "warn" you off when you start pushing? I know the psychological side must be really limiting and "red-flagging" effort sometimes, but I'm asking about the physical... if that's even possible to separate! lol

"rider"... not "writer." perhaps i should train to be a better "writer," no? :) happy pedaling, bro!

Hey man, I don't know if you're training to be a better writer but I found my best training is off the bike... Intense cardio in max interval circuits.... stuff like that Hope your recovery is going well!!
