bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
http://www.MXWrencher.com - This isn't your "Buddy's backyard oil change" - On today's sophisticated 4-stroke motocross bikes, there's quite a bit more to an oil change, than just pulling the drain bolt, emptying the case, and filling her back up. In this short video, Corvin will explain the important step by step instructions, and show you the DANGER areas that your buddy never told you about, that could save you hundreds of dollars in engine repairs, one of these days.

Just got a kx450f changed the oil and it is emulsified, what could cause this other than the head gasket? Not left the drain plug off in the rain etc. I did ride after heavy rain the other day through big puddles but I can't see how that got in the case??

You can switch back and forth it makes no difference. There was some chatter about this years ago when synthetics first came out, but you can switch without concern.

Also always change your oil when the engine is warm. This suspends the small particles of debris in the oil and drains the debris/small particles out with the oil. Otherwise the heavy debris will settle to a low part of the engine case and may not come out with the old oil.
