My 49cc Bike motor kits, Huffy Cruiser and Mountain Bike/ Massachusetts Registration $40

I built three of these bikes. One is in RI being used as transportation to work by my son. I really enjoy building these bikes! If you live in the Worcester County area and would like this type of bike i can build it with modified tension arm for about $100 (you supply motor and bike, motor kits about $140.00 shipped). If your bike frame needs modification a bit more. WARNING: MASSACHETTS - REQUIR REGERSTRATIONS FOR THESE KITS $40 FOR 2 YEARS. you will need your local police do a serial # search on your motor and sign a waver for registry if none exist (pain in the ass but worth it). all three of my engine kits had NO serial #s. I purchased the engines (that runs awesome) for $139 each total with shipping. The Huffy Cruiser was $79 at walmart total build about $230. The schwinn was off craigslist for $35 used total cost of build about $175. My opinion is if you want something for short trips to the store or work there great, Keep your speeds down about 20 / 25 mph. (these are bikes capable of 40 mph! your car can probably do 110 mph, would you drive that around at maximum speed?) http://www.daemonbikes.com/

like no tork. its most high rpm based. but depends of the crown in the back. there are from 33 to 50 teeth.
-
Can you link where you bought the crusier
-
massabuses or taxachuttes

10 hours to build my ass! takes me two tops! its not that hard.

Well, to a visibility standpoint, I don't mind if you use 6 volt lighting instead. But I just advocate 12 volt compatibility for electronic expandability in mind.
-
It's more an amperage issue than voltage since amps do the work. A good output battery matched with a strong torque electric motor may account for why your bike can make it up the hills while many cheaper companies will cut too many corners for profitability.

I used to do toys for tots charity where we'd buy and assemble bikes and tricycles for kids. One thing you find out about the cheaper models they sell at walmart is that they rarely come with any lube on any moving parts, we'd have to pull it apart complete and bearing grease everything otherwise everything goes metal on metal. I think the quality goes with the cost, it's just that if you save money one way you need to reinvest it in sweat equity in another.
