hi, is that a fixed gear bike or freewheel?
I really like fixed gear frame but dont know if the motor could work on fixed gear bike -
Not being funny, but why don't you just buy a moped?

o man, #2 and #7 are bad to the bone, plus this one, the 29". i think that may be my next build.

You know you can run like 50/1 in these little 2 stroke engines...

I am wondering what you live in . the reason I ask most n.e. states have 3 things[some states more] for a motorized bike. 50cc or less,,,,,,,,,,top speed 30 mph,,,,,,,,, automatic trans. the last one wipes out a lot of these kits from being road legal. if these bikes were automatic you would probably run not this problem

Great video and cool bikes my friend. That 289 c.i.d. was sounding pretty mean. I had a 62 Falcon with a 289 with a 3-speed on the floor and that was one mean little Ford to say the least, lol. By the time I sold that Falcon I had turned the odometer over twice and I believe it already had something like 78K on the motor when I pulled it out of the 65' Mustang it was in that had been rolled & damn near crushed to death. Is that a Galaxie 500 or a Fairlane 500? Hell, watch it be a Custom, lol.

I like how people who are dedicated to this pretend that 4-stroke engines don't exist. Oh no 5 mph slower but my bike doesn't vibrate like a bitch and isn't a high pitched toy. You're spending barely less to get more speed and customization but you sacrifice longevity and practicality. Unless your frame only allows for one or you're building a racer (which is stupid get a cafe racer that isn't made out of some thin steel or aluminum and race those) there really isn't any practical reason to install a 2 stroke on a motorized bike.

I'm trying so hard to talk my self out of building one of these. I have to many hobbies and so much in the big bike.

Was there anything special you had to do since it was on a 29 in? I debated getting one before I stuck with the 26in I have now, but remembered the kit says for 26-28 in. Wheels.
Btw #7 has an almost rocket looking exhaust, real swick. -
They're all awesome bikes wish i had one. I bought a kit and bike but just cannot seem to put it together plus so many little things that just hasn't gone right so here i am drooling. Oh well thanks for the buyer's beware heads up!
