Purchasing a bike is a great start, and then making that bike work FOR you is even better! After so much time building up frustration and dealing with terrible conditions/environments at the hospitality jobs I'd been working, I decided to put my skills and my assets to better use! So I applied to Uber as a delivery rider and I feel SO MUCH BETTER! I'm grateful to be spending my time out in the fresh air riding, enjoying the sunshine, and working on my fitness levels, instead of selling/promoting/handling food full of animal products and things I don't support. Even though Uber sometimes sends out food deliveries, I'm not directly dealing with the handling or sale of the food itself, and to me that is just a little more bearable. BUT sometimes the deliveries are actually Vegan food orders, which is amazing! Don't get yourself down too much about having to work a non-vegan job - but still do the BEST you can to move away from it as much as possible!
