what is the throttle sensitivity compared to a kx250 2 stroke dirt bike??.. cause ive gotten very good with my dirt bike and am now in search of a zx6 or possibly zx10

Got my fist bike cbr250r march 2016 a week later got my bike license, rode the 250 for 2 months then bought a ninja 300, after 5 weeks of riding the 300, i jumped to a 06 zx10r. Not really surprised with the way it rides, it's all about your wrist and being a responsible rider. Don't be afraid with machine but be afraid of yourself that's if you are retarded.

I just started riding back in June 2015 on a Ninja 300, Grew out of it 3-4 wks time, Traded it in for a Honda CBR650 that yr (Oct 2015) I been ready for a liter, Getting a Honda 1000rr next month, Its all in the maturity of the person, If ur a careless ahole then NO I dont think you should get a liter bike, If ur responsible rider, Go for it, Dont let all these b/s opinions scare you into saying the liter MC is soo much like a monster lol, Like the dealer told me, If you can ride a 300cc you can ride the 650cc or a 1000cc, Its such a waste of money starting off on 300, If I would have know I would have purchased a 600rr in beginning, Hey but we live & learn, Now I no, Soon I'll have a 2014 Honda CBR650f, 2013 Ducatti 999, & 2012 Honda CBR1000rr in my collection of MC's this spring, So guys enjoy & God Bless you all while ur out there take God with you always, If you never tried God please do so, You've tried everything else why not try God Peace!!!!!!!!!!

Just bought my first 1000cc bike moving up from a 600. I'm excited but I'm pretty nervous about it too.

How about the people that start on litre bikes ? Just because you can do it doesn't mean other people can't ...

MY FIRST BIKE WAS A LITER.... PURCHASED FOR $5K IN JAN 15... RODE IT TO BLACK BIKE WEEK... WITH NO PROBLEM... GOT MY LICENSE 15 YEARS AGO... NEVER RODE A LITER BEFORE.... I LOVE ZUKRENA... #ZUKINATION ... AND I'M GLAD I PURCHASED HER... ANYTHING WITH LESS POWER AND TORQUE... I WOULD BE KICKING MYSELF... ACTUALLY WHEELIED YESTERDAY FOR THE FIRST TIME GOING INTO SECOND GEAR... IT WASN'T ON PURPOSE... IT JUST HAPPENED... I WASN'T SCARED... SHE CAME UP GRACEFULL AND WAS PUT DOWN GRACEFULLY... #THROTTLEHANDUP PSA... I RIDE HER ALL THE TIME... MORE THAN THE AVERAGE PERSON WENT FROM PURCHASED MILES 3267 TO 11239 IN 3 MONTHS... AND I LEAN THE CURB... #ALLDAYLONG.... SPORTMAX Q3 TIRES... IF YOU ARE SCARED TO RIDE A LITER... GO LOW ... THAT'S MY MOTO... #GOTHEART

That make me not want to learn wheelies. There's always that thought, is it really worth it? I started on 600RR. I've ridden 250 at MFS, but didn't own one. Don't know out liter bike, never tried it out.

I'm glad I got A cheap 600 before I got My 2011 GSXR 1000 It's consiterable More power But I Can't go Back to a 600

When I went from a Street Triple 675 to a GSX-R 1000 it didn't seem like that big a change. Yeah, the power was clearly there, and in ample amounts, but it seemed more like an incremental difference rather than the exponential difference I felt between a Ninja 250/300 and the Street Triple.
The gearing, the acceleration, everything was pretty similar to the Street Triple, just ... more. Whereas between the Ninja 250/300 and the Street Triple it was like an entirely different world. Maybe it's because the 675s have more torque than the other 600 supersport bikes so they're more like 1000s than 600s? Dunno. The only other supersport I've ridden was the ZX-6R and that was a 636 so not exactly a standard 600cc supersport either.
Perhaps the 675 is more like a little superbike than its supersport counterparts? Hard to say, I've never ridden one. -
bigger rear sprocket = more wheelies.

Just a heads up, I'd say get your suspension setup for your body weight. Tank slappers do occur, no doubt, however a well setup bike tends to sort out any imbalances. Get your sag adjusted to see if you need a stiffer or softer spring or if what you have stock works. And then a good steering stabilizer. It sucks that you had a tank slapper happen. Scary as shit but I managed to pull out of mine.

I think I'm gonna get a liter bike first.. I rode dirt bikes for 3 years so its technically not my starter bike but it will be first street bike... I just know if I get a 600 I'm gonna want a 1000 and I'm not gonna waist the money

That intro was tight!

This was a great vid, I stumbled onto your channel by chance. I hope lots of the newer riders with money to afford a 1k take something from you.
Well. im piggy in the middle..i've got a Viff 800 (03) and it fills all my speed and power needs, its the 4th one i've owned, I thought about the 1200 but its looks and smaller range put me off. Sir , have another Sub. and maybe check out my old fart riding style :) -
I started on a hayabusa right after my ms course and I'm doing fine.never been down.I didn't want to waste money and time on starter bikes.also a 600 is soon slow compared to a busa

Imo theres a big diff between someone who grew up riding 4wheelers and dirtbikes and someone who lived in town that never had the oportunity. I started out on a 1000 but with the benefit of riding and wheelie'n and learning throttle control on atv's. i found a really gd deal on a bank repo that had been hangar'd for a yr at an airport. I was 16 and couldnt afford to step my way up anyway so its what i got. If you're an adrenaline junky & or want to "pop" wheelies out the gate its a bad move. 1000s will put you into corners ALot faster than you intend and learning to wheelie on 1 in 1st gear? Forget about it. For me, i had sum close calls, laid bikes down, missed turnes and it was all compounded by the extra hp. For all practical purposes a 600 is a better mor forgiving teacher and in fact i never got good at wheelies until buying a wrecked gsxr 600 a couple years later for 750$, i put it back togather and to this day its been 1 of my most fun bikes. I have a piped, filter & mapped 06 gsxr 1000 now that i love but after around 60k mi on bikes i still cant imagine learning to "ride" a wheelie n the first few gears on that bike. Again just my opinion, gd video. Not trying to comandeer your comments section either lol just hoping like you to help someone with my own experience.

Good video. I hope people listen to you.

Lol I'm going from a 250 straight to an R1. I have lots of open road around me to practice, though. (Subdivision type area. Turns, straights, etc..) I don't really drive crazy at all. I only barely ever even pushed the little 250. I only commute about 3-4 miles to work and back at 10 at night then 7 in the morning (night shift blows), so there's barely any traffic, plus it's just a straight shot from here to there. I know I should be worried, but without telling me the normal "you're going to kill yourself. you're so stupid, etc..." do you have any tips?!
