THE SUZUKI BURGMAN 650! The ultimate two-wheeled, zero fuss luxurious method of two-wheeled transport perfectly describes the Burgman 650 ABS Executive. Combining advanced motorcycle design within the performance scooter concept has resulted in this exciting form of powered two-wheeler. Offering a new level of scooter comfort, weather protection and ease of use with big bike power, handling and ABS braking, our Executive model raises the bar for two wheeled personal transport. Using a fuel injected 638cc parallel twin motor, which delivers 54 horsepower and plenty of torque through our SECVT constantly variable drive system, it delivers instant step-less power and speed without the need for a manual clutch. With a switchable auto/semi-automatic gearbox and power modes to hand, this is not just twist and go, this is twist and go-go-go, to put a smile on your face! Comfort and convenience are traditional scooter attributes, but the sophisticated Executive surpasses any previous expectations. Heated seats and grips, the cavernous amount of storage including 56 litres under the seats, a lockable glove-box plus the protective front screen which can be raised or lowered electrically while on the move are included in the lavish specification. Parking in tight spaces is aided by the excellent rear-view mirrors which fold in at the touch of a button. Another neat touch is the DC socket for a Sat-Nav. With its luxury specification, full weather protection, powerful twin cylinder engine, motorcycle stability and ride this leisurely tourer, hasty commuter and motorway muncher sits at the top of the big scooter class.

I don't think the cameraman is professional enough due to his way of seeking for specific image.

I'm a big guy and was looking to get a touring scooter. So I sat on a new Burgman 650 the other day and found this big bike had little knee room. If you're tall like me (6'3") or taller, your knees are going to have very little clearance or be resting on the dash board.
Instead of designing a area for one's knees, the Burgman's dash actually bulges out toward your knees. It's weird because my 150cc Chinese scooter has more leg and knee room than the Burgman 650.
So what did I do? I bought a Aprilia Scarabeo 500 and couldn't be happier. -
I own a burgman 650 since september last year and this is the best bike I every owned. Enough power and very comfortable. The next step is a goldwing

I`m on my third burgman, currently an 05 400. Picking up my new 2013 650 executive on 2nd June. If we get any kind of decent summer here in UK I plan a lot of miles. It will be good to compare it with my burgman650 I had in 2008.

I have a 2011 Burgman 650 Executive. I did not realize the 2013 has better fuel economy and a redesigned transmission. That is one problem with my Burgman, you need to muscle the bike around. I also noticed at the Cleveland Motorcycle show that the 2013 appears to be smaller than my 2011. Almost as if I'm on the Burgman 400. I still like my digital gauge over the 2013's analog one. A very good scoot for anyone looking for the biggest/fastest scoot on the market..
