My cruiser cost $3,800 it was fresh out of the shop and only had 5,700 miles on it. Now has 12 k + on the odo with only tires and oil change. Insurance is cheaper than my car and it gets better gas milage. There is something out there for everyone's budget. All you need is ambition and a Rider Safety course. PLEASE do the rider safety course it will keep you up on two wheels and loving it.

Most of cruisers are more expensive than some of small cars. Has to be half of cars price. More than double less of parts and assembling time. + double price for the insurance.

Funny you say that my dad just bought a 2012 street glide cvo. I personally think its a polished turd but he was talking about trading it on one of these.

I've had my GTL for 2 months now. It is magnificent in all respects. Paid AUS$ 39 000 which includes all options including driving lights. It handles extremely well and fast enough for me (60 years young). I also have a 1200GS and a 650GS (single) but the GTL is obviously my favourite. I especial like the adjustable screen and heated seat and hand grips. I remain relatively dry and warm in pouring rain and very cold conditions. Well worth the money!
