Support this project on Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dweiner/maintenance-free-bicycles-that-make-cycling-easy A new concept in cycling, a beautifully designed bike with smart engineering & low cost. Quality with no compromise, Priority Bicycles We have added more bikes! Please see the new $384 tier, a $45 savings over retail (bicycle + smartphone holder). Every bicycle level backer now receives a free smartphone holder. We are so honored and thankful that the Kickstarter community has embraced Priority! We Are On A Mission To Make Cycling Easier Our Unique Product Chain-free - Priority Bicycles do away with messy chains that ruin clothes and feature clean belt drives that’ll make your ride smooth. In 1984 Harley Davidson replaced their chains with belt drives, too. Why? Chains require lubrication, they rust, and are susceptible to the weather. Belt drives are more durable, more quiet, and cleaner. Lightweight Aluminum Frame - Unlike conventional steel frames, Priority is made from strong, lightweight aluminum to make it easy to carry the bike up and down stairs. The aluminum is also rust-proof, making Priority perfect if you live near the beach or somewhere with rain or snow. Super Comfy Saddle - Riding should be enjoyable, so your seat should never make you feel sore. Our saddle has two layers of foam to make sure you're always comfortable. Upright Seating Position – Sore backs can be a byproduct of biking, but not with Priority. Our bikes are designed for upright seating to ensure you feel as good after the ride as you did before. Theft Deterrent - We know you’ll fall in love with Priority, and we want to do anything we can to keep our bikes with their proud owners. By using bolts instead of quick releases, Priority makes it more difficult for thieves to disassemble parts. You'll still have to lock up your bike, but bolts are a precaution Priority has taken to make theft more difficult. Puncture Resistant Tires - It’s the little details that make riding Priority easy. We're not saying you'll never get a flat, but those thorns and glass have to work a lot harder to ruin your ride. Easy to Assemble - Once your bike arrives, nothing stands between you and the open roads except a simple four-step, five minute assembly process that requires no previous technical bike knowledge. Everything You Need - Priority Bicycles are designed to get you on the road quickly and easily. When you purchase a bike, everything you need is included, from a tire pump and assembly tools, to a kickstand to a water bottle cage. Video used with permission. Aluminum doesn't rust, yes, but it still oxidizes. What the hell you mean? Lol

Only having the coaster brake is dangerous. I get it, rim brakes and disc brakes require adjustment, but at least if/when that belt fails/falls off you will be able to stop.
-
please make a trike chain free? i do not know how to bike [nervous].
-
This is NOT $799. The newest version (2.0), is something like $449. These bicycles are very well made and the quality is obvious. You get what you pay for.

-
So $799 isn't expensive for a bike how?
-
He also find out the wheel.
-
still kind of expensive

I live on Kwajalein, a tiny island in the Pacific. There is no such thing as a maintenance free bicycle. If you have a bike that will last here a year, I'll buy it.
-
Did a 5 second search on Google and low and behold here is a bike very similar for $350 . http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/windsor/images/oxford_green_xi_2100.jpg
$100 less then the one here. But it does have a chain, as well as splash guards and chain cover...so... -
Unfortunately your technology is behind, though the belt drive is cute, it cuts power by %3, and Giant has been making the simple for years and it is much more comfortable than the bike in that video. Sorry but you can't outrun a giant. And, all bikes need maintenance. Your bike there has a seat, bolts, spokes, and pedals that will rust. Your tires get flats, and the cheapest bike is over $300. No curvature on that aluminum frame must feel like riding through rock gardens when going down smooth roads

"Maintenance-Free" .. that's stunningly full of shit.
-
Now you just need the front gears to make a long distens travaling bicke
-
at least put solid tires on it if you're going to call it maintenance free, afterall thats what fails the most, inner tubes.

Soooo... I got money from my Mommy and Daddy after I got my Anthropology Degree from NYU and well I was like oooohhh my God what am I going to do- Oh I know I'll start a bike company! Yeah and we will use technologies that have existed for 60 plus years and say we invented everything from scratch! Ohhh but wait I checked my bank account and like there isn't even enough money for me to fly to South Korea next year with my Korean girlfriend (she was born in Queens) so I am asking everyone that watches on this internetting thing to like give me money, but don't worry if we make money from using the money you gave us we'll give you a 10 percent discount on one of the bikes and a green t-shirt!

Bicycle RUSSIA - the BEST...

new invention,,, grate if you want to kill your self ,, just a hub brake and no front brake ,, and belt drive , you will not be able to find one if you need to change it , or if you want to change gear ratio , the concept is ok ,, but ditch the belt drive use a normal chain , add a dynohub with disk brake ,front and back ligth , thredless headset 1/1.8 and make the frame fordable
-
belt drive is a bitch to reinstall if you have a flat and need to take off the wheel. And expensive.
-
This is Absolute BULLSHIT: There's no such as a maintenance-free bicycle. If this bicycle is Maintenance-free!?, then it should have solid flat-free tires, self lubricating parts. I have never heard of something marketed as new invention yet not a single feature that hasn't been seen before. PLUS, the C.E.O. Is not even a Professional; Bicycle racer! If this is Greg LeMond or even Lance Armstrong then yeah. This guy is just in for the CON....
-
That's kinda arrogant to say there aren't any good bikes other than yours. I can think of several.
